Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 8, 2026

At Stick Studio Pro, accessible from https://stickstudiopro.com/, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our site, how it is used, and the rights available to you under applicable data protection laws, including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Canada's PIPEDA, Brazil's LGPD, and other applicable regional privacy laws.

1. Local Project Data (No Cloud Uploads)

Unlike other animation platforms, Stick Studio Pro does not upload your project files, animations, or actor configurations to our servers. All work is stored 100% locally on your device using browser local storage. We have no access to, and cannot recover, your creative content.

2. Cookies and Web Beacons

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons and pixels) to store visitor preferences and to record which pages of the site a visitor has accessed. This information helps us optimize the user experience by customizing content based on browser type and settings.

Where required by law (such as under the GDPR or ePrivacy rules), we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies, and you may withdraw that consent at any time through your browser or device settings.

3. Advertising Partners

Stick Studio Pro does not currently run third-party advertising on the site. We are in the process of applying to advertising networks, which may include Google AdSense, and this policy will be updated to name our active partners once advertising goes live.

When advertising is active, our partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. You will be able to review each partner's own privacy policy at that time.

You may opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings at google.com/settings/ads, or industry-wide at the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page (US), the Your Online Choices page (EU), or the YourAdChoices page (Canada). We will never sell your personal data outside of the "sale/sharing" activity described in Section 6 for advertising purposes, and you can exercise your opt-out rights described there.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to monitor website traffic and user behavior. This helps us understand which features (like 1080p rendering or the Cinema editor) are most popular so we can continue to improve the tool. Analytics data is aggregated and, where possible, anonymized or pseudonymized.

5. Data We Collect

We collect basic analytics data, which may include: page views, session duration, device type, browser type, approximate geographic region (derived from IP address), and referral source. If advertising becomes active on the site, this may also include ad interaction data as described in Section 3. We do not collect your name, email address, or other personal information unless you voluntarily provide it, such as by contacting us through our contact form or creating an account.

6. Your Privacy Rights

GDPR (EU/UK/EEA users): You have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction on the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing, including for advertising. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

CCPA/CPRA (California users): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise this right, you may use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanisms described in Section 3, or contact us directly.

Other jurisdictions: Residents of Canada (PIPEDA), Brazil (LGPD), and other regions with comparable data protection laws have similar rights to access, correct, or delete their personal data, and may contact us at the email below to make a request.

Since we do not store project data on our servers, "deleting your data" from us primarily concerns analytics and advertising cookies. To remove your locally stored animations, clear your browser's site data for stickstudiopro.com.

7. Children's Privacy

Stick Studio Pro is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction, such as 16 in some EU member states). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not knowingly serve personalized ads to users who identify as under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.

8. International Data Transfers

Our analytics and (when active) advertising partners may process data on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required by law, such transfers are conducted under appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, as implemented by our partners (including Google).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
